Discovering God™ Bible Study Method — Workshop
Class Description
Learn the Discovering God™ Bible Study Method in a hands-on workshop.
We begin by teaching God's purposes of restoration to build our foundation for relating to Jesus through His Word. The context of God's nature, purposes, and priorities™ creates the roof for our structure and all our discoveries live within these boundaries.
While there is much to learn, every part is broken down so that you can replicate the method. Each part of the method will be defined, explained and practiced.
You will create summary statements and compile them into an organized outline from which you can teach a message.

Written on Our Hearts — Book Study Workshop
Class Description
Are you a student of the Word of God or maybe a person who knows that God has called you to teach the Bible but feel you need to be better equipped? You may be a lay teacher or youth pastor who is looking for a proven method of study that you can benefit from or use to train others. This course is for you! Ancient Promise Ministries has used this program in East Africa since 2012 to train pastors, Bible school teachers and church leaders how to know God through His Word. The impact has been overwhelming!
Written on Our Hearts is an inductive, contemplative Bible study process, designed to transform the soul. It lays a foundation of understanding God’s nature, purposes and priorities as the basis for all Biblical interpretation. The primary focus is discovering what is revealed about God—what He is like, what He is doing, what He has done, and what is important to Him, so that God’s intent governs our understanding of truth.
In the training, you will be guided through a step-by-step process and taught to ask intentional questions as you study. You will study through a book of the Bible practicing basic Bible study skills of observation, interpretation, reflection and application.
